The H2Office was originally conceived as a floating office unit. Although its design is quite versatile so it could be remodeled and used in many other ways. It could become a living place, a meeting/working area, a play room, a dining area and so on. As the office the unit provides enough space for one or two people to work in comfort. It also features plenty of storage space, an external sun desk to relax after a meal on a kitchenette, and a pull-out bed for ocassional overnight stays. Extras includes a microwave oven, fridge, wind turbine, solar panels, flat-panel tv, air conditioning and so on.

This luxury living space is located in Paddington, Sydney, Australia. It’s contemporary entertaining dream oasis that offers tranquility and privacy everybody want nowadays. It features stunning interiors and magical outdoor areas. The soaring central garden and loggia terraces add sheer beauty to the various levels, while the roof garden and multiple living areas give new meaning to all-year-round indoor outdoor entertaining. This loft belongs to Johanne Riss, a fashion designer who lives in Paris. It isn’t just the place to live but also the place to work. The loft had been a artist’s studio before Johanne bought it. Thanks to that not many changes was done. Doors were removed and the space was paint in a variety shades of creme and white. With the original lights highlighting the wonderfully high ceilings, Johanne’s loft is now an open and flowing space, with large linen curtains that maintain the privacy and define volumes. The lounge serves as a dressing room with beige curtains that close this square space. The light and airy loft become pretty and calm to live and work in.

This project has started with following request: “I want a 9 car garage and be able to enjoy viewing one of them in the living room.” Besides that the client wanted a tall tree in the living room too. Takuya Tsuchida, the architect of the KRE House, managed to fulfill both requestes. The site for the house is located in the most populous part of Tokyo so the architect had only 2000 square feet of land to create this house with 9-cars garage. Due to the unique structural design and floor layout, it wasn’t easy for them to acquire a building permit for this house, but in the end the enthusiasms of both the client and architect prevailed.

This house by a quiet river, deep in the mountains is designed to be connected to this landscape. It is divided into two wings, with the hole-shaped terrace in between serving to connect the wood in the back of the house with the woods on the opposite bank. There are many artificial pools that are filled with lotus right by the house. Walls are created to be light enough that the wind would sweep through but from stone. The combination of such walls, large glazing, water and lotuses make almost every place in the house calm, relaxing and connected as to the nature as to the contemporary lifestyle.\

This house is a redesign of existing house in Sag Harbor, New York. The original house was a traditional old wooden house but surrounded by beautiful nature. That was used during the remodel so the new house is also has wooden frame and the interior is very well connected to the exterior. There are several decks, terraces and stairs so owners could easily go for a walk from almost every part of the house. Besides that there are quite large windows around the house so there is a lot of natural light and cool views in many house’s rooms. All exterior wood work is done with reclaimed-recycled woods. Besides there are solar panels on the roof and the rain water collection system.

Slit House is located in historical neighborhood in Nanjing, China. Even though it has very contemporary minimalist look it’s in harmony with surroundings. The entire structure, facade and the roof are made of concrete. It’s one of the first concrete buildings in this area. Thanks to such exterior it looks minimalist and modern outside. The interior is mostly done in wood to be more comfortable to live in. There are two connected areas with half floor height difference. The living area has 2 floor ceiling height while the dining area has only 1.5 floor ceiling height. There aren’t many openings around the house in order to maintain its privacy.
