Wrapping around a large Victorian era home, this romantically inspired garden is designed for family living. The whole concept is to create a quite natural but at the same time neatness outdoor space. The garden consist of series of separate spaces which cater for active recreation, entertainment and passive reflection. These garden rooms are linked with generous pathways and creeper draped arbors which draw users from space to space with the enticing vistas they create. The plant selection of this garden deliberately focuses on flora which has longevity through the seasons and a strong green backbone all year ’round. Roses bloom for six months of the year in a walled parterre courtyard. Large informal hedges provide seasonal flowers and berries as well as a sense of privacy. {via}

Rear Garden Ideal For Catching Sun And Dipping Into the Pool

This rear garden is a secluded, north facing private space, ideal for catching winter sun in the adjacent artist’s studio and for dipping into the pool in the summer heat. French doors open out from the rear of the house onto a solid stone terrace, linking inside and out. Generous stairs then lead down to the main entertainment area of the garden comprising of pergolas, a swimming pool and a design studio. Beautiful Boston Ivy is in contrast with contemporary timber an stainless steel furniture and create a suitable for outdoor entertaining place. The soft landscape has seasonal longevity. {via}

The House That Consists of Two Habitable Areas Connected

The house design took its inspiration from two sheds linked by stretched tarpaulin. In the result it consists of two habitable areas joined by an expansive floating pavilion. Wide expanses of sliding glass doors respond to all weather conditions in the area and give place for eating, dining or relaxing closer to nature. The building is clad in band sawn ply sheets and permeable metal screens whilst a roof deck with awesome sea views. {via}

Evans Private Residence near L.A- Glamour and Style

From bittonidesignstudio (architects Mark Bittoni, Ross Jeffries and Salomé Reeves), this project is actually a remodel of a private residence located in Crestwood Hills, near Los Angeles. Behind the remake stood the idea of “taking something modern and making it more contemporary”. The house has a great placement miles away from the city and up in the hills. You will find that the exterior is absolutely breathtaking and the outdoor pool seems to fit perfectly with the shape of the building. Contemporary furniture, large windows, beautiful terraces and a great interior design are the main features that brought this crib on our list of dream homes. {via}
